“Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.” Galatians 5:25 NLT
We were excited when we began this series, but we also knew that it could get a little messy. After all, nowhere does God promise that following Him is “safe” or “normal” – at least not our definitions of safe or normal. Most of God’s ways can seem upside down to us – last is first, love your enemies – but we move forward in obedience and trust anyways because of who God is.
That being said, in Dawn’s quiet time this morning she felt God was speaking more to her about the message He wanted her to share this week. She is currently praying over the previous post, as well as what she heard Him say today, and will have the blog ready for us sometime tomorrow!
This may be uncomfortable for some of you. To be honest, it can be uncomfortable for us as well! The lack of order can sometimes create confusion or resistance, but we want to stay true to God and follow Him every step of the way without question, regardless of our understanding.
“The LORD Almighty has sworn, “Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will happen.” Isaiah 14:24 NIV
“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the LORD. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” Isaiah 55:8 NLT
We cannot wait to repost our blog for you and hope that this message encourages or even challenges someone who reads it!
